The angle of elevation is opposite to the angle of depression. The angle of elevation is formed when it is between the line of sight and the horizontal line. If the line of sight is above to the horizontal line, the angle formed is known as the angle of elevation. But in the angle of depression, the line of sight is downwards to the horizontal line. At the end of this module, among other things, students will gain very good understanding of angles of elevation and depression, element of plane geometry, angles formed between straight and parallel lines, compass and three digits bearing, angles formed between lines in triangles and quadrilateral, and solving problems on bearing and distances.
