All living things undergo one form of change or another throughout their life time. Metamorphosis is a biological process of transformation by which an organism develops from birth into an adult by significant changes in the organism’s body structure through cell growth and differentiation. It occurs in different stages from one plant or animal to another. At the end of this course, among other things, students will gain very good understanding of metamorphosis of insects, development of toad, fertilization, pregnancy and birth in humans, fertilization in flowering plants, and formation of seed, dispersal of fruits and seeds, and types of germination of seeds.
