Small Group Class (3-5) | N1,500 per class (max of 1hr) | Total # of Classes: 3

Water is a substance composed of the chemical elements hydrogen and oxygen and existing in gaseous, liquid, and solid states. It is a universal solvent; it has the important ability to dissolve many other substances. It is a tasteless and odourless liquid at room temperature. Water hardness is the amount of dissolved calcium and magnesium in the water. Hard water is high in dissolved minerals, largely calcium and magnesium.  In hard water, soap reacts with the calcium (which is relatively high in hard water) to form “soap scum”. At the end of this module, among other things, students will gain very good understanding of composition and uses of water, hardness of water, and treatment and test for water
