A wave motion is a process of transferring a disturbance from one point to another in a medium without any transfer of the particles of the medium. Light is a form of energy that causes sensation of vision, which enables us to see. When light crosses the boundary of one medium to another, it refracts. At the end of this course, among other things, students will gain very good understanding of production of wave and wave motion, reflection and transmission of light, refraction of light through glass prisms, types of radiation and uses of electromagnetic waves.
